Be an Angel this Holiday Season
Make a donation to Gabriel House of Care’s Be an Angel Campaign this holiday season and have an angel with your personal holiday greeting for a loved one hung on our Angel Tree.
Your personal gift will ensure that our affordable lodging and Community of Healing programs continue in our mission to improve the quality of life for the guests we serve in their difficult journey through organ transplant procedures and cancer treatment. Crystal & Orlando
We are honored to support incredible guests like Crystal, who recently underwent a kidney and pancreas transplant. Throughout her recovery, Crystal has found strength, comfort, and hope within the welcoming community at Gabriel House of Care. She shares how the staff and fellow guests have made her feel truly understood, offering the kind of encouragement that can only come from people walking a similar path.
Her husband and caregiver, Orlando, echoes that sentiment. Through our caregiver classes, he has gained confidence, compassion, and the support he needs to navigate his role with grace. The connections they’ve formed here are rooted in shared experiences and genuine care that have created a family-like environment that has played an essential role in their healing journey.
We are grateful to have been part of their story and inspired by their resilience, their partnership, and the hope they bring to our community.

Ashley & Sandra
We are honored to walk alongside guests like Ashley, who recently received a life-saving heart transplant. During this critical stage of recovery, Ashley has found comfort, encouragement, and renewed strength through the supportive community at Gabriel House of Care. From breathing and movement classes that aid his healing to the friendships formed with fellow guests, every moment has helped him move forward with hope.
His mother and caregiver, Sandra, shares how empowering it has been to learn and grow through our cooking sessions and caregiver resources. These experiences have given her the confidence and skills to care for her son after surgery, while also surrounding her with a community that understands the challenges of caregiving.
The bonds Ashley and Sandra have built here are grounded in kindness, compassion, and shared experience that have made a meaningful impact on their journey. We are grateful to be a part of their story and inspired by the strength they bring to our community.
